Acrylic painting may be just the tool you need to enjoy a color-filled life, and it's easier to learn than you may think! Through a series of guided lessons and demonstrations, each student will learn how to mix colors, arrange pleasing compositions, use color theory and understand technical aspects of acrylic paint on various surfaces. Acrylics, Intermediate & Advanced

This class is designed for students who wish to further refine their painting technique using acrylic paints. Don’t procrastinate about getting work done at home any longer. Instruction in still life, landscape, and portraiture will be made available in a supportive environment. Attention will be paid to individual student goals. Continued emphasis on observation and color mixing will enable participants to achieve mastery in this vibrant medium. Some prior experience is advised for enrollment in this course. Advanced Intuitive Tarot

This class is a continuation of the Intuitive Tarot Class that continues to enhance your intuitive abilities by having you practice reading for others and reaching readings for yourself. Taking the Intuitive Tarot class before is preferred but not necessary. Just bring a deck of Tarot cards and be prepared to have some fun while you learn!
All New Trim 'N Tone
Experience these fun, different, low pressure workouts that will leave you feeling trim and toned! Each class varies slightly to tone your muscles, gain strength and flexibility and work your core. Interval classes include dance aerobics, free weight toning, step aerobics, abdominal work, circuit training and stretching. Each class is taught so students can choose the workout level that’s best for them, whether they are a beginner or a veteran exerciser! Work at your own level to meet your individual goals. Students should come to class with hand weights, mat or towel, and water.

An Introduction and Overview to Tiny House Construction

In this class, we will learn the basic fundamentals involved in the tiny house construction process. This is a lecture-based class that gives students an overview of tiny house construction, and there will be a completed tiny home at the school that will give students the opportunity to experience how it might “feel” to live in a tiny home. This class is ideal for the person who is contemplating building a tiny house, with the goal being to have students walk away with the knowledge to make an informed decision. Topics covered in the class are not limited to, but will cover, design considerations, construction techniques, codes, tiny house living. Bring a notepad if desired. This class will be held at the Long Branch School facility at 25 Main Street in Bowdoinham. No Discounts.
