Adding Herbs Into Your Summer Diet

If you feel like learning some cooking tips, nutrient values of herbs and tasting some herbal treats this class is for you!


An Introduction and Overview to Tiny House Construction

Are you fascinated with the idea of living in a ‘tiny house’? Join us and learn the basic fundamentals involved in the tiny house construction process. This is a lecture-based class that gives students an overview of tiny house construction, and there will be a completed tiny home at the school that will give students the opportunity to experience how it might “feel” to live in a tiny home. This class is ideal for the person who is contemplating building a tiny house with the goal being to have students walk away with the knowledge to make an informed decision. Topics covered in the class are not limited to, but will cover, design considerations, construction techniques, codes, tiny house living. This class will be held at the Long Branch School facility at 25 Main Street in Bowdoinham. Saturday, July 16 10 am-12 pm Location: Longbranch School $45/$55 NR

ATV Safety

Participation in an ATV education course will teach how to properly operate and maintain an ATV. Laws, responsibilities and personal safety will also be covered. Passage of a final exam is required. You must attend every day of the class in order to receive your certificate.

Students under 16 years of age must be accompanied by parent or guardian.


Ballroom Dance Beginner Session IV.

Students get a unique opportunity to learn both Latin and American Ballroom in one class! Latin Ballroom is one of the hottest dance crazes to hit the U.S.; it’s fun, romantic and a great form of exercise. Cruises, nightclubs, weddings, reunions and parties are always more fun when you are dancing, and American Ballroom Dance is a perfect ice breaker. At any social event, the sight of a great dancer moving to a captivating beat is simply irresistible, and now you too can step into that light with confidence. No partner or prior dance experience necessary. In Sessions I students learn all the basics in Foxtrot, Swing, Mambo and Merengue. In Sessions II students learn all the basics in Waltz, Rhumba, Cha Cha and Tango. All sessions are held for 6 weeks on Wednesdays at ABSolutely Fit Center, 9 Cumberland Street, Brunswick from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Students continue to learn American and Latin Ballroom in this intermediate dance class. Students that have some ballroom and Latin dance experience are welcome - so get ready to perfect your existing dance steps and build confidence with each class. Students continue to learn all the moves in Foxtrot, Swing, Mambo, Merengue, Waltz, Rhumba, Cha Cha and Tango. No partner necessary. All sections are held for 6 weeks on Wednesdays at ABSolutely Fit Center, 9 Cumberland Street, Brunswick from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.

Beginner Singing

Our voice class is not only for singing; we will also address concepts such as projection, vowels, accuracy with pitch, and personal style. We will have fun with songs while discussing vocal production to help you become a stronger singer. Come learn the capabilities of your own voice.

Dust off that old guitar! Bring your brand new guitar. Decide you’re actually going to pursue learning more about playing your guitar! Come learn with New England guitarist/singer/songwriter from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Randy Lindsey, MMA. Each student will interact musically with the class as we integrate those just starting out with intermediate students who want to expand their current abilities and knowledge. We will address topics such as maintenance, technique, chords, strumming, finger-picking, and reading music and tab. Get some new strings and bring lots of enthusiasm and questions. $20 material fee to instructor.
