Through a series of guided lessons and demonstrations, each student will learn how to mix colors, arrange pleasing compositions, use color theory and understand technical aspects of acrylic paint on various surfaces. Acrylics, Intermediate & Advanced

This class is designed for students who wish to further refine their painting technique using acrylic paints. Don’t procrastinate about getting work done at home any longer. Instruction in still life, landscape, and portraiture will be made available in a supportive environment. Attention will be paid to individual student goals. Continued emphasis on observation and color mixing will enable participants to achieve mastery in this vibrant medium. Some prior experience is advised for enrollment in this course. All Things German: Schnitzel Anyone?

We will prepare various schnitzels with side dishes, make a quick version of apfelstrudel and, of course, practice making plain and cheese spaetzle. American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training, including Child and Infant CPR and First Aid

Students ages 11-15 will learn through text, video and discussion the knowledge and skills needed to care for children while their parents are away. This basics class will introduce the language of astrology and decipher the basic building blocks: planets, signs, houses, aspects. Using the charts of famous people as examples, we will start to understand how energy manifests in the human condition and how it translates into actual life expression. We will incorporate the principles of evolutionary astrology, which addresses the original intent to incarnate, and what issues and experiences the soul is seeking to integrate and resolve, as shown in the natal chart. Ballroom Dance, Beginner Session I

Students get a unique opportunity to learn both Latin and American Ballroom in one class! Latin Ballroom is one of the hottest dance crazes to hit the U.S.; it's fun, romantic and a great form of exercise. Cruises, nightclubs, weddings, reunions and parties are always more fun when you are dancing, and American Ballroom Dance is a perfect ice breaker. At any social event, the sight of a great dancer moving to a captivating beat is simply irresistible and now you can step into the light with confidence. No partner or prior dance experience necessary. Students learn all the basics of Foxtrot, Swing, Salsa and Merengue. In Session II students learn all the basics of Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha and Tango.
