Students ages 11-15 will learn through text, video and discussion the knowledge and skills needed to care for children while their parents are away. Students will learn basic caregiving skills as well as child and personal safety. Successful completion includes Child and Infant CPR/ First Aid. Must bring lunch/snack/drink. No discounts. Bus Driver

Class B Commercial Trucks and School Bus

Commercial Driver License, Class B Commercial Trucks and School Bus with Automatic Transmission

Step 1: Get and complete a Commercial Driver License Application and Physical Exam Form @

Step 2: Get a physical

Step 3: Send in your application and the physical form with a fee of $35 for Class B and $10 for school bus.  It will take 6 weeks to receive your exam date.

Step 4: Study the Maine Commercial Manual Driver License Handbook, section on CDL and school bus and the section on alcohol

Step 5: When you get your permit DO NOT send road test card to the state – that will be done once you have completed the course

Step 6:  Call Merrymeeting Adult Ed they will contact Ray Dyer to contact you

Step 7: Once Ray has contacted you, pay Merrymeeting the fee for the driver training $285

Once the student attends the first lesson they will NOT be eligible for a refund

If you they do NOT complete the class within five months they will need to pay the full amount again
