Would you, or your young ones be interested in learning how to skateboard? Or maybe you know a little, and want to learn a lot? Bobby Gray is a skateboarder who wants to share his passion, and teach those who are interested. He has been skateboarding for over 20 years, and continues to do so despite the bumps and bruises! Come learn the basics of board control, learn how to ollie, and maybe even some flip tricks! This workshop is open to all ages and skill ranges. All you need is a skateboard, a helmet (required for minors and highly encouraged for adults), and the willingness to occasionally fall down! Knee and elbow pads are required for minors, and a good idea for adults.

Our instructors use the Krav Maga training for this class. Krav Maga is a top-of-the-line training that the military uses. Krav Maga teaches you how to anticipate an attack! It helps you to know exactly how to escape in any real-life scenario. You'll learn throughout your class some of the strikes and blows that work in specific scenarios. Light fitness movements, along with punches, kicks, groin kicks, choke defenses, and more incorporated into our classes!
Card Making 101

It’s time to release and utilize your inner artistic abilities. Join me for three weeks of beginner and intermediate skill level classes. We will be testing and challenging ourselves to learn a few fun and interesting techniques in card making. Summer and nautical themes will be our focus to be explored in this particular class. All materials, supplies and tools will be provided for student use.

"Let it Go with Tony" is under TDF (Tony Dance Fiesta LLC) and is not only a dance program that helps you physically by burning calories and keeping you fit, but it also helps you fight depression, it will encourage you to feel empowered and confident. It will be a time dedicated especially to you, where you will laugh, dance, without being judged. This class is for everybody, gender, age and shape… you will go at your own pace, just like you would in a nightclub or in a family party! Course fee is for 6 sessions with Tony.

Bridge is a card game played by 4 people in a partnership format. It is a fun game to learn, and an excellent way to keep your brain in shape. In this class we will start from scratch, so if you have never played before, or if you played years ago and need to brush off the cobwebs, this class is for you. If you can come with someone to be your partner, that’s great, but not necessary. Each class will have a lecture portion and some play. We’ll start with basic rules and wind up with some advanced strategies.

Digital artist Andrew Elijah Edwards shares his knowledge and answers any questions you have in a supportive, community environment. For course fee of $50, you get 5 sessions with the instructor.
Living Well for Better Health

Living Well for Better Health is a group-based, participatory class led by two trained peer leaders over 6 weekly sessions. Participants learn and practice effective strategies for symptom management and general wellness in a supportive environment. Through the use of action-planning, brainstorming, and problem-solving participants identify and pursue goals for life and health. Participants get a book and cover healthy eating, managing pain and emotions, getting good sleep and physical activity, communication, mindfulness, decision-making, medications, and breathing techniques, and more, in this program that is proven to work.

We live in a world where there seem to be constant demands on our bodies and minds. Sometimes the accumulated mental and physical stress can get so overwhelming that it is hard to know how to deal with it all without dissolving into a puddle of anxiety. Keeping a journal can help you create order out of chaos when your world feels like it is falling apart. It can help you to keep track of and work through both physical and mental symptoms. It can help you organize and keep track of any personal or professional projects you may be working on. Daily journaling can help you to keep excess thoughts and worries from overwhelming you and help you to discover your physically and emotionally healthy and authentic self. In this class on Journaling for Total Health & Wellness, your instructor, Stephanie Garrity, will walk you through the various types and styles of journaling to help you find the kind that is best suited to you and your needs. Bring a set of colored pens (minimum four different colors). Blank journals will be provided.
