Students should have reliable internet and an audio- and video-enabled device to participate.

Develop skills in grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, spelling and conversation in this beginner's class. Students are responsible for ordering their own book prior to the start of class: “Basic Spanish” (2nd or 3rd edition), by Dorothy Richmond.

Improve your listening comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar through recorded dialogs about living and traveling in France with grammar and structure exercises. Textbook: Vite et Bien 1   Class meets on Zoom.

Students must have an audio and video-enabled computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

American Sign Language: Level I - Session II

Calendar Oct 28, 2021 at 6 pm, runs for 6 weeks

Learn basic sign language communication, including handshapes for the manual alphabet, fingerspelling, numbers, vocabulary, and easy to use sentence structure. Deaf culture and familiar phrases will be included to enhance your communication with Deaf /deaf and hard of hearing family, friends, co-workers, students, clients, and customers. Serious high school students and adults with age-related hearing loss are welcome. Our ASL syllabus will detail learning outcomes and course content areas. ASL is a visual language, so notetaking, textbooks, or dictionaries are not required. Instructor will provide handouts via internet. No previous sign language experience is necessary. Martin Samelson is an ASL college professor and job coach for the Deaf/deaf, a specialist in learning to communicate without voice. No classes on 11/11 & 11/25

Beginning Spanish II

Please note:  There will be no class on Nov 24.  Class will extend 1 week, ending 12/22.  Continue developing skills in grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, spelling and conversation in this beginner's class.
