Dog Grooming - Lesson 1, Bonding & Calming

$50

with Alphonso Govan, Jr.

Calendar Nov 30, 2020

All sessions are delivered one-on-one with individual dog owners.  Each dog and their person are unique and have individual needs.  These needs are most easily addressed and successfully mastered in this format of individual dog grooming workshops.  There are no steadfast ‘class dates’.  Once you register your name will be sent to the instructor and he will contact you to set up the classes.

Lesson One:  Bonding and Calming.  Lesson One will be about getting comfortable with your furry friend and they with you through the art of touch. Some dogs do not react well when first experiencing the feel of touching but do adjust rather quickly as they realize it is very calming.  This class will show you how to massage your dog and why this benefits you both.  We will also take time to go over what tools are needed for grooming, including why you need a stuffed animal to practice on.

More sessions are available by individual requests.
