Creative Digital Photography

Unleash your digital photo creativity. Learn how to take control of your camera settings and get the effect you want. This class covers the basic settings of your camera: Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO sensitivity. Each week we will explore an aspect of digital photography, learning what camera settings to use to get the effect you want, and practice putting it all together. There will be hands-on practice of each technique, plus a chance to view your pictures and get constructive comments. Students are encouraged to complete a fun assignment each week. Prerequisites: Digital camera basics or the ability to change shooting modes from Auto to Manual or other creative modes, ability to upload photos to a website from your computer. NOTE: You must have a DSLR (with removable lenses), your camera manual, and a tripod for this class.

Crossbow Hunter Education

To be eligible to purchase a crossbow hunting license, individuals 16 years of age and older must hold a valid big game hunting license or an archery license, and must submit proof of successfully completing an archery hunting education course and a crossbow hunting course, or evidence of previously holding adult archery and crossbow hunting licenses. A resident or nonresident 10 years of age or older and under 16 years of age may hunt with a crossbow if that person holds a valid junior hunting license (no crossbow license required). With a valid crossbow hunting license, a person may hunt bear with a crossbow during open season on bear and may hunt deer with a crossbow during the open firearm season on deer. The crossbow hunting license may not be used to hunt deer during the archery season, muzzle loading season or expanded archery season. Cuban Salsa - Fundamentals Session II

Darling Needlefelted Animals

In two evenings, each participant will make one or more cozy soft small mammals or birds of their choice out of wool using the needle felting method. In the past, popular choices were bears, penguins and ducks! A material fee of $11 included in the cost covers the wool and armature materials. One felting needle is also included. Bring your glasses if you wear them for close vision. No experience required. Class size is limited. No discounts.
