Trips and Tours
with Chris Toy
Join Chris for a day of art, food, and shopping in and around Boston's Chinatown! Start the day with a shopping trip to Kam Man Marketplace, the largest indoor Asian market in New England with over 400 food and other shops all under one roof. The selection is international and the prices are the lowest around. After shopping we'll head to Chinatown where you will be free to choose from dozens of authentic Asian restaurants and bakeries. For those interested in experiencing authentic Family Style Chinese Dim Sum, Chris will be heading to Boston's oldest Chinese restaurant, China Pearl, where his family has dined for over 50 years. Let us know if you want to do Dim Sum so we can make reservations. After lunch we'll head over to the Museum of Fine Arts, via the T, where you will be free to explore the collections. Chris will give a short 30 minute talk and tour about dragons and Chinese art. So bring your cameras, appetites, and shopping lists! Includes entrance to the Museum of Fine Arts and round trip train transportation and subway card. Lunch is on your own. No refunds or discounts. Meet at the Brunswick Train Station for a 7:30 AM departure; departing Boston North Station for return at 4:45 PM.
