Chakra Yin Yoga

with Heather Laffely

Calendar Mar 17, 2022 at 9:30 am, runs for 6 weeks

Yin Yoga is a gentle, supportive practice that targets deep connective tissues, like fascia and ligaments, as well as, the joints and bones of the body. Positions are held for longer periods of time, allowing for deep release in areas that have tension and “tightness” built up.The longer holds allow stretching and lengthening to occur in areas and tissues rarely used and/ or accessed. Intentional breathing skills are covered to offer the possibility of remaining present in stillness. A focus on 1 of the 7 Chakras(the body’s energy centers) will be addressed in each class. Opportunity to learn about the Chakras while in physical practice deepens the mind/body connection. No class 4/21.
