Merrymeeting Adult Education

With instructor Jennifer Linskey, each week, you will learn about one artist in-depth and will utilize class time to create art that incorporates those ideas. The class will be part art history, part looking at an artist’s work in-depth, and part synthesizing the learning. We will discuss what inspired the artist of the week, learn interesting tidbits and facts about their art, and working methods. The goal is to introduce you to some different periods in art, expand your art history knowledge, and play with some different ways of making art. All backgrounds are welcome and encouraged! **New artists!** and a full 3 hours of art to start your week off right. Come join us!
