Unleash your digital photo creativity. Learn how to take control of your camera settings and get the effect you want. This class covers the basic settings of your camera: Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO sensitivity. Each week we will explore an aspect of digital photography, learning what camera settings to use to get the effect you want, and practice putting it all together. There will be hands-on practice of each technique, plus a chance to view your pictures and get constructive comments. Students are encouraged to complete a fun assignment each week. Prerequisites: Digital camera basics or the ability to change shooting modes from Auto to Manual or other creative modes, ability to upload photos to a website from your computer. NOTE: You must have a DSLR (with removable lenses), your camera manual, and a tripod for this class.
