Illustrate a Layered Landscape with Watercolor: Techniques for Masking Fluid and More
with Claire Loon Baldwin
$120
Learn how to create a layered watercolor landscape by using different tools for ‘masking’, such as wax crayons and masking fluid. This all-levels workshop demystifies landscapes through a series of exercises to build observational drawing skills. We’ll learn techniques for using dip pens with ink with watercolor, and combines that with additional masking tools effectively build layers. Students can either buy themselves the required materials or they can buy material kits from the Mix, an art store in Brunswick.
