Go boldly with pen and ink, (or brush and ink) where no one has gone before in this follow up to Ed Higgins’ Illustration Workshop for Astronauts class. Now that we’ve examined and subverted some of the production world’s process, it’s our task to find our own individual processes; testing new ways to use this beautiful medium. Maybe that means going abstract, or using colored inks. We can try making our own inks, pens, or markers. Nothing is off limits, but please, if you decide to load a squirt gun with ink, don’t point it at anything but your intended artwork! Minimum materials list for this class is a sketchbook, pens, inks, and pads of Bristol or Bristol boards. *No Class: 4/25. **Special note about art materials: Please do not call our office about materials. Come to the first class with your favorite sketchbook and drawing pencils & pens. Suggested materials will be discussed by the instructor on the first day of classes. Thank you.
