Marine Engine Maintenance
with U.S. Power Squadron

Covered are the basic mechanical systems such as drive systems (propellers), steering systems, engine controls and gasoline inboards, outboards, and diesel engines. The EM course covers repairs that do-it-yourselfers can perform, teaches how to diagnose problems that might be beyond your ability to fix, and how to share information with yoru mechanic so the right repairs get performed. Also taught are solutions you might use to emergency problems that could occur while afloat and away from a repair facility.
