Merrymeeting Adult Education

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. This program is presented by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing (NAMI Maine), and sponsored by MaineHealth Midcoast. Participants will need to complete a 2 hour self-paced learning module prior to instructor-led session on 8/17. All information will be sent after registration. *Note to certified K-12 teachers: This program is eligible for professional development contact hours.
