Merrymeeting Adult Education

Train to become a working Registered Maine guide by learning the skills that guies use daily, including map & compass, coastal navigation, shelter building, separated client searches, cooking, canoeing, snowshoeing, SUPing, plus specialty skills for sea kayaking, fishing and hunting future guides. This course DOES NOT include Maine IFW application process testing fees or First Aid. This hybrid program includes Zoom, all day workshop, and homework assignments. Classes on: 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4 & 4/11. No classes on 2/14 or 2/21. BY ZOOM 6:00 - 9:00pm There will be two optional workshops offered to the students with fees paid directly to Alice.
