Session I Chair Yoga
with Dannika Ross
Chair yoga provides an adaptive and accessible way for individuals who experience challenges with strength, balance, and mobility. This class is for all abilities and integrates the chair into the poses making modifications for each level of ability. There will be an emphasis on mindful breathing, dynamic movements, stretching and strengthening muscles, and exploring ranges of motions creating a full mind-body experience. Each class will conclude with a peaceful relaxation/meditation session. We will begin with in-chair only and adapt our class based on the needs of the participants. Class meets on Zoom.
Students must have an audio and video-enabled computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.
