Merrymeeting Adult Education

While working on small drawings/thumbnails, we will use the Josie Lewis book on Color Mixing to practice, and therefore deepen experience of color relationships. These are playful and very informative patterns of simple mixing, and suggest the use of watercolor. (Note from the instructor: "I am not a watercolorist, and have long experience in color theory). Colored pencils can also be used. Both media take time. There will be a series of videos/demos to deepen your understanding of the lessons. These are password-protected, available to registrants. The class will meet on Webex for lessons and critiques of your work. No class on May 25.

Students must have an audio and video-enabled computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate. Merrymeeting will send you information about accessing the class prior to its start date.
