Learn techniques for capturing your travels in a sketchbook! This is the perfect opportunity to delve back into old photos and savor your adventures again through art. We’ll learn techniques for capturing landscapes and cityscapes both accurately and expressively, and experiment with ways to build unique compositions. Students will learn techniques for watercolor and ink, and experiment with supplies that work well on the go. You’ll finish the course with a series of unique compositions, and the skills for continuing your sketchbook practice on future adventures. Students can either buy themselves the required materials or they can buy material kits from the Mix, an art store in Brunswick. *No Class: 2/17. **Snow Date: 3/17.
