Would you like to crank up your creative writing skills? Join your instructor, Freelance writer and author Stephanie Garrity in taking your creative writing to the next level. The imagination is an amazing tool, and nowhere is this more obvious than in the art of creative writing. From short fiction and poetry to full-length novels, unique social media posts and original that the creative writer be able to tap into their creative and imaginative core. This 10 week immersive creative writing class will touch on generating ideas for a wide variety of writing projects, how to hook the reader’s attention no matter what you are writing, how to write attention-getting social media posts, the structures of poetry and fiction as well as developing narrative design for stories. You are welcome to bring your laptop or a notebook and writing utensils, whichever you are more comfortable with. But remember, this is an immersive writing class, so come prepared to write! *No Class: 11/26, 12/24, 12/31.
