Holiday Bows & Tags

Come join me while I teach you to make beautiful bows perfect for decorating presents or a wreath! A selection of wired ribbon will be available for each person to leave with two completed bows. Feel free to bring your own wired ribbon if you would like to make more! We will also use rubber stamps and dies to hand make gift tags with many options to explore your creative side! Pre-made kits will be provided. Please bring your scissors, a glue stick, and your preferred coloring medium (markers, pencils, etc).
Watercolor + Mixed Media Foundations

Each session brings a fresh mix of color experiments, playful techniques, and mixed media magic — think watercolor with a twist of ink, pencil, or other fun materials. You’ll start with a quick color-mixing sheet to get those creative juices going, then dive into a new technique designed to expand your skills and spark inspiration. It’s all about relaxing, learning something new, and enjoying the creative process together! All materials included — just show up ready to paint and play! *There is a $20 materials fee due to the instructor on the first night of class. The materials fee covers everything you’ll need.
Chinese Toys & Snacks Experience

Curious about traditional Chinese toys and snacks? Join this hands-on class to explore the playful and tasty side of Chinese culture! Students will play with classic toys, learn how they work, and enjoy a variety of authentic Chinese snacks. By the end of the session, students will take home fun memories, a deeper understanding of Chinese traditions, and maybe even a new favorite treat! *A $15 materials fee must be paid to the instructor on the day of the workshop.
Jewelry Making Basics: Gemstone and Sterling Silver Earrings

Create a unique pair of sterling silver gemstone earrings in this beginner-friendly workshop. Choose from a selection of gemstone beads while learning basic jewelry-making techniques, including wire wrapping and assembly. All materials are provided. Leave with a beautiful handmade pair of earrings and the skills to continue creating on your own.
Cold Process Goat Milk Soap

Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class introduces the basics of cold process goat milk soap making. Learn soap-making safety, ingredients, equipment, and the step-by-step process of creating nourishing soap. Each participant will make a 2.5-pound batch (about 10 bars) to take home and cure, gaining confidence to continue soap making independently. Instructor: Melissa Hackett, Rock Bottom Farm, Richmond ME. *A materials fee of $35 must be paid to the instructor on the night of the workshop.

Botanical Illustration with Watercolor and Ink

This all-levels class explores botanical illustration with watercolor, pen and ink. Students will learn principles of scientific illustration through painting subjects ranging from mushrooms to wildflowers, focusing on observational drawing and precision watercolor painting techniques. Students can either buy themselves the required materials or they can buy material kits from the Mix, an art store in Brunswick. *Snow Date: 2/2.
