Candle Dipping (FF)

Come spend a relaxing afternoon making beautiful beeswax candles. Students will be hand-dipping taper candles and then coloring them in pots of colored wax. Suitable for ages 7+ (under 10 may require adult assistance). A $10 materials fee, payable to the instructor, must be paid the day of class. *The course fee and the materials fee is per participants. **Registrants must register themselves and their child.
Mosaic Pet Portraits

Furred, feathered, scaled and even bald pets are beautiful! Please bring two printed copies of an 8x8inch or slightly smaller portrait photo of your pet to class. A close up head shot is best! We will learn how to score, break, and snip glass and ceramics down to shape and glue to our substrate. On the last day of class we will finish with grout. Tools will be provided for in class use. A material fee of $25 must be paid to the instructor on the first night of class. Beginners welcome!

Handbound Lay-Flat Journal

Discover the magic of bookbinding as you create a beautiful 6" x 9" (closed) lay-flat journal using the elegant Drum Leaf binding technique. In this fun evening workshop, students will assemble folded pages into a finished book with no sewing required. Perfect for sketching, watercolor, journaling, or memory keeping, this class blends creativity with approachable bookmaking skills. Please bring 1/2 yard of cotton quilting fabric, fabric scissors, and a ruler. A portable bookbinding press will be available to use during class or may be purchased for $10. A $25 materials fee covers all other supplies needed to complete your journal.
Nature and Bird Photography

In this Nature and Bird Photography online class, we will go over camera settings and compositions and how to get great images of Nature's best like moose, birds, seals and other subjects! We will also learn how to set up a blind to get great images, the best lenses for this type of photography and tripods to get the best stability for your images! And this is for a Digital Camera or a Smartphone!
Glass on Glass Landscape Mosaics

Please bring a photo of a natural landscape special to you to class. We will use the photos to create 8x12” mosaics by simplifying the landscape and highlighting its most prominent features. We will learn how to score, break, and snip glass down to shape and glue to our glass substrate. On the last day of class we will finish with grout. Tools will be provided for in class use. A material fee of $35 must be paid to the instructor on the first night of class. All mosaic experience levels welcome!
Bouquet Illustration with Watercolor and Ink

Capture your own bouquet with watercolor and ink! This all-levels class will explore techniques for illustrative ink drawing with ‘dip pens’, and layering and mixing vibrant and organic hues with watercolor. Students will leave with their own unique composition of a bouquet, with matting and packaging provided for easy gifting. Students should bring a bouquet or reference imagery. Students can either buy themselves the required materials or they can buy material kits from the Mix, an art store in Brunswick.
Window Star Workshop

Welcome in the holiday season with colorful window stars. Made from folded kite paper, these magical decorations are perfect to illuminate your home or give away as gifts. All students will receive their own kite paper booklet so they can continue making stars at home. A $20 materials fee, payable to the instructor, is due the day of class.
