Parents:  It is vital that your student arrive on time for class.  Due to late arrivals, students have fallen short of their 30 hours of class time and must make up the time.  Because the State of Maine requires 30 hours of class time, if your student arrives late, they will be turned away, and a charge will apply (below) for the class to be made up.  It is very important that your student arrives on time.  Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions.  Thank you for your understanding.

Are you between the ages of 15 and 19 and want your State of Maine permit to prepare for your driving exam? We offer driver education courses to help build strong, safe, and confident drivers. Students are awarded an instructional permit upon successfully completing the course with a grade of 80 percent or better and completing the required hours of instruction. The total hours of instruction are 40; 30 are in the classroom, and 10 are behind the wheel. A full payment of $575 is due at the time of registration. If a student withdraws from the course, $75 is withheld from the refund to cover program costs. Only employee discounts for this class. Please call Merrymeeting to register by phone if you are employed by MSAD 75, RSU 1, Brunswick, or Wiscasset school departments. The list is available on our website for students with a medical diagnosis. Please contact the office or click the link below for the required CR-24 medical form. Join me for a two-part hands-on class that blends meditation and creative weaving to create your Receiving Bowl with the intention of transforming a painful message from your past into a new message of healing, strength, and possibility. Participants will have the use of a loom throughout the two-part workshop. The loom must be returned at the end of the second class. A small amount of additional weaving at home will be necessary before attending the second class. In this hands-on cultural cooking class, you’ll learn to prepare sticky rice, choose fillings like pork, red bean, or dates, and wrap the signature pyramid shape or other shapes. Discover the legend of poet Qu Yuan and the deep symbolism behind this ancient dish as you cook your Zongzi to perfection. *A $20 materials fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop.

We will discuss the healing power of common herbs for the skin and how to incorporate them into your creation. We will explore different recipes on how to make lotion for the body and face This is a great class to take if you are wanting to learn how to make hand-made lotion for holiday gifts! *There is a $5 material fee payable to the instructor on the night of the workshop.

Basic Life Support is for healthcare professionals who are looking to obtain or renew their certification. This class covers CPR/First Aid/AED training as well as foreign body airway obstructions, how to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke and how to respond in a life threatening emergency. Upon completion of the class, participants will receive a certificate from the American Red Cross which is valid for two years. Presented by Jennifer Harris of First Point Training, LLC.

Use your Zentangle skills to relax, make gifts, and craft ornaments for the upcoming holiday. In Holiday Zentangle, you will learn to make Triskele hanging ornaments, Christmas Trees, hand-done placecards, and decorative picture frames over the course of two sessions. All supplies needed will be provided. While any skill level will be accepted, those who have taken Introduction to Zentangle will have a head start.
