Mini-Retreat: Reclaim Your Balance and Ease

This workshop is designed for those of you who give generously to others and are ready to create space for your own care and renewal (too). When you naturally lead with your heart—offering care, kindness, and understanding to others—it’s easy to become drained, overextended, or unsure how to refill your own cup. This workshop offers a nurturing space to prioritize your well-being and explore how to offer yourself the same care and kindness you so easily extend to others. This 1.5 hour workshop integrates mindfulness, self-compassion, and wellness practices to help you: +Reconnect with yourself through grounding techniques and reflective journaling. +Clarify your priorities using tools like the Wheel of Life to restore balance. +Plan small, meaningful actions that align with what matters most to you. +Learn practical mindfulness and self-compassion exercises you can easily weave into daily life. This restorative session will leave you with tools and practices to help you feel more balanced and energized.
Pickleball for Beginners

Learn the basics of the fast growing sport of Pickleball. Easy to learn well enough in a short time to have fun, get exercise, fresh air and find people to play with. Learn basic strokes, positioning on the court, rules and scoring. Paddles & balls are provided for classes. All classes will be held on the Pegasus Courts' at 126 Pegasus Street at Brunswick Landing. Instructor Barbara Rondeau is a former tennis pro who took up Pickleball 8 years ago and has been teaching ever since. This class includes 5 sessions.
Pickleball for Advanced Beginners/Low Intermediates

This class is designed for players who have played some and want to improve strokes, learn more strategy and advanced shots. Work on being a better partner. Please bring your own paddles. All classes will be held on the Pegasus Courts' at 126 Pegasus Street at Brunswick Landing. Instructor Barbara Rondeau is a former tennis pro who took up Pickleball 8 years ago and has been teaching ever since. This class include 5 sessions.
Tai Chi for Flexibility and Balance

Taiji Qigong Shibashi for Body, Breath and Mind Connection

Taiji Qigong Shibashi is an effective exercise blending the gentle and fluid art of Taiji with the strength of Qigong producing potent health benefits. The wavelike, fluid motions of the form stimulate the flow of qi and blood throughout the entire body. Because of its many health benefits and its efficiency it is a part of the curriculum in most Chinese Medicine Universities throughout China. In this course we will explore how anatomical alignment facilitates deeper breathing and a meditative mindset. Practicing Shibashi will balance your Qi, improving your wellbeing and the quality of your life.

Please join Mary Woodbury, OTR/L CHT for a discussion about self-care - easy-to-perform techniques, exercises and home-use devices to ease discomfort in our hands and arms. Some of the many hand and upper extremity conditions benefiting from self care are osteoarthritis, tennis elbow, trigger finger, and carpal tunnel. Self-care is conservative care and often the first line of care prescribed by Physicians and Occupational Therapists. This program is brought to you by Hand Therapy Treatment and Education Center, LLP.

Anxiety & Stress Relief Workshop

Stress is a normal part of life, yet at times it becomes too much. Come learn about the stress cycle, and how stress and anxiety impact the body. Learn new tools to help you in your daily life. You will learn two breathing techniques, a simple self-massage routine incorporating trigger points with essential oils, and two mindfulness skills. This class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and class participation.
