Participants remain seated and supported by a stable chair the whole time with a focus on mobility with a flowing, active range of motion, and stability by holding postures steady, all on a foundation of self-compassion. This 30-minute yoga class is offered to you live-online in the comfort of your home.
Bodyweight + Bands for Healthy Knees

Build strength, stability, and confidence with this low-impact fitness class designed to support healthy knees and better movement with Maine Active, LLC. Using bodyweight exercises and resistance bands, you’ll improve leg strength, balance, mobility, and joint support in a safe and supportive environment. This class focuses on functional movement patterns that help with everyday activities like walking, climbing stairs, standing up, and staying active. Exercises can be modified for different fitness levels, making it a great option for beginners, active adults, and anyone looking to move with less discomfort and more strength. This is a specialty program and includes: resistance bands, guided instruction, progressive weekly plan, and injury-conscious programming. Nicole is an ACE certified fitness instructor, personal trainer, and USAF veteran.The course fee is for 5 sessions with Nicole, and includes resistance bands. No experience needed; just bring comfortable clothing, supportive shoes, and a willingness to move. Bring a yoga mat for seated modifications (optional). *No Class: 10/12.
