Parents: It is vital that your student arrive on time for class. Due to late arrivals, students have fallen short of their 30 hours of class time and must make up the time. Because the State of Maine requires 30 hours of class time, if your student arrives late, they will be turned away, and a charge will apply (below) for the class to be made up. It is very important that your student arrives on time. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.
**Please Note: A make-up fee applies to all missed classes and driving sessions. ** **
Class and Driving Makeup Fees:
- Classroom: $40/hr
- Driving: $80/hr
Please bring a birth certificate or passport to the first class and a pen to every class. Parents/Guardians must attend the last 45 minutes of the first class and participate in a ride-along with their child, which will be scheduled by the instructor and the parent or legal guardian.

Middle Eastern Belly Dance Mixed Level Drills & Thrills: Boot Camp
with Josephina Gasca
Authentic Belly Dance, or raks sharqi, is an ancient form of dance. Raks sharqi means “dance of the east” in Arabic. Belly dance celebrates every body type and every stage of life. The dance is proud and powerful and soft and sinewy with elegant and isolating movements emanating from the core. It’s the Pilates of dance. And so much fun! This is a great refresher class for experienced dancers and suitable for dancers new to belly dance. Please wear comfortable clothing, similar to what you might wear to a yoga class that will allow for free movement and the ability to see your movement. Hip scarves make it even more fun. You can dance barefoot or in a pair of comfortable dance shoes in the studio. Zills (finger cymbals) will be used in class. Check in with the instructor before you purchase any. As an added bonus, you will also have access to a video library with instruction, drills, and ongoing choreography during the length of the session. ***Course Fee is for 10 sessions between June and August.
