Colored Pencils
with Ed Higgins
If you’re not satisfied with adult coloring books, and want to really explore colored pencils as a fine art medium, learn colored pencils with a recovering production artist. We’ll begin with basic layering techniques and soon you’ll be painting with colored pencils instead of just coloring. It’s an easy and powerful way to gain understanding of color theory and color mixing. Whether you’re completely new to colored pencils or looking to learn more about this versatile medium, this class is for you! Students of any experience level are welcome, but students who have never had any class instruction with Ed should contact him directly with any questions at ed_higgins@icloud.com. *No Class: 11/27.
Driver's Education: Morse High School
with Chris Brilliant
Parents: It is vital that your student arrive on time for class. Due to late arrivals, students have fallen short of their 30 hours of class time and must make up the time. Because the State of Maine requires 30 hours of class time, if your student arrives late, they will be turned away, and a charge will apply (below) for the class to be made up. It is very important that your student arrives on time. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.
**Please Note: A make-up fee applies to all missed classes and driving sessions. ** **
Class and Driving Makeup Fees:
Classroom: $40/hr
Driving: $80/hr
Please bring a birth certificate or passport to the first class and a pen to every class. Parents/Guardians must attend the last 45 minutes of the first class and participate in a ride-along with their child, which the instructor and the parent will schedule.

Are you between the ages of 15 and 19 and want your State of Maine permit to prepare for your driving exam? We offer driver education courses to help build strong, safe, and confident drivers. Students are awarded an instructional permit upon successfully completing the course with a grade of 80 percent or better and completing the required hours of instruction. The total hours of instruction are 40; 30 are in the classroom, and 10 are behind the wheel. A full payment of $575 is due at the time of registration. If a student withdraws from the course, $75 is withheld from the refund to cover program costs. Only employee discounts for this class. Please call Merrymeeting to register by phone if you are employed by MSAD 75, RSU 1, Brunswick, or Wiscasset school departments. The list is available on our website for students with a medical diagnosis. Please contact the office or click the link below for the required CR-24 medical form. The Hidden Cost of Time
with Paul Giggey
Most people know the cost of their rent or mortgage, car payment, or streaming services, but few know the true cost of investing and retirement planning. This seminar reveals the hidden fees that can reduce long-term wealth and could potentially save you $100,000 or more. This is an educational seminar — not a sales presentation. This workshop is led by Paul Giggey, a retired teacher of personal finance.
