A Taste of Greece: Appetizers & Sides

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to prepare classic Greek appetizers like tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, and giant beans. We’ll also create hearty, comforting soups, including lentil, great northern bean, and the traditional avgolemono, featuring both chicken and meatball variations. All materials/ingredients provided.
Glass on Glass Landscape Mosaics

Please bring a photo of a natural landscape special to you to class. We will use the photos to create 8x12” mosaics by simplifying the landscape and highlighting its most prominent features. We will learn how to score, break, and snip glass down to shape and glue to our glass substrate. On the last day of class we will finish with grout. Tools will be provided for in class use. A material fee of $35 must be paid to the instructor on the first night of class. All mosaic experience levels welcome!
Bouquet Illustration with Watercolor and Ink

Capture your own bouquet with watercolor and ink! This all-levels class will explore techniques for illustrative ink drawing with ‘dip pens’, and layering and mixing vibrant and organic hues with watercolor. Students will leave with their own unique composition of a bouquet, with matting and packaging provided for easy gifting. Students should bring a bouquet or reference imagery. Students can either buy themselves the required materials or they can buy material kits from the Mix, an art store in Brunswick.
Window Star Workshop

Welcome in the holiday season with colorful window stars. Made from folded kite paper, these magical decorations are perfect to illuminate your home or give away as gifts. All students will receive their own kite paper booklet so they can continue making stars at home. A $20 materials fee, payable to the instructor, is due the day of class.
Holiday Bows & Tags
with Dawn Stevens
Come join me while I teach you to make beautiful bows perfect for decorating presents or a wreath! A selection of wired ribbon will be available for each person to leave with two completed bows. Feel free to bring your own wired ribbon if you would like to make more! We will also use rubber stamps and dies to hand make gift tags with many options to explore your creative side! Pre-made kits will be provided. Please bring your scissors, a glue stick, and your preferred coloring medium (markers, pencils, etc).
Raclette: The Perfect Winter Dinner Party

This workshop will teach you all about the Swiss winter tradition of raclette, a meal that is all about cheese. Learn about creating a fun, memorable night for family and friends by throwing a raclette dinner party to get through the dark, cold winter. We’ll go over the traditional components of the meal and how it can be adapted to any diet or preference. The workshop will include a demonstration and tasting. Come ready to eat cheese. *Winter Session Snow Date: 1/25.
